A bit short notice, but:

A group of us are going to Ladies Night at La Dolce Vita this Tuesday (Feb. 3rd) We're planning to get to the restaurant at about 6:30. You can meet us there, or meet me at Starbucks at 6:15 to walk over from Northside, or meet Nikki at Fribley same time to walk over from Southside :-)

Ladies who order off the ladies night menu get a free entree with their drink order (non-alcoholic beverages count, water is the only one that doesn't).

Ok- so we all know the Boilermakers are playing at Lakewood on Friday (yay!). But Blue Lunch is also playing at the House of Swing on Mayfield on Saturday. Does any want to go on Saturday too? A weekend full of swing to start the semester off right? Cause I'd totally be up for it.

I'm just sayin'.

Frankie Manning's Autobiography

I am almost finished reading Frankie Manning's Autobiography. I have found it to be fascinating and inspirational. I have learned so much about the history of swing dancing that I did not know.

I was just wondering if anyone else had read it? If not, I highly recomend it.
